The popular meme coin just saw its burn rate explode by 104%, its price shot up, and a new token joined the family.

While tokens were burning, SHIB's price was churning. 

We saw an 8.33% jump that pushed SHIB from $0.00002108 to $0.00002280. 

The hourly chart lit up with a massive green candle, sending SHIB up 4.31%. 

Sure, we've pulled back about 4% to $0.00002193, but that's crypto for you – two steps forward, one step back.

Gains can’t be only up – we have to take some retracements before hitting new highs.

Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB's lead developer, just dropped some big news: TREAT's officially live. 

The new token hit major exchanges on January 14 – we're talking Kraken, MEXC, BitGet, and SuperEx. The works.

But with any new launch comes the scammers, and Kusama's not playing around. 

He put out a clear warning to watch out for fake TREAT tokens. 

Just remember – it’s Web3, so if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Keep your dogs safe out there.
